Eric Bitetto

Eric is a Financial Advisor affiliated with Eagle Strategies, LLC and a Registered Representative with NY LIFE Securities. He is licensed to offer insurance products with the New York Life Insurance Co as well as many of the other major life insurance companies and has been practicing since the year 2014.
Prior to starting his own business, Eric is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor originally. He holds a Master of Public Health from CUNY Hunter College and a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Long Island University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Eric spent 10 years in the healthcare industry in various clinical and management roles throughout the behavioral health sector before transitioning into the financial industry. He always possessed the desire to be an entrepreneur and believed he could apply his genuine concern for people and his love for building relationships and use it to advise his clients in a new way - to help them achieve their financial goals.

Additionally, Eric is very active in his communities. He is a member of the Horry Georgetown County Builders Association and a member of the Chicora Myrtle Beach, SC Rotary Club. He is also a member of the Garden City, NY Kiwanis Club where he has been involved in many different community service projects. He has been a member of the Garden City, NY & Saratoga Chambers of Commerce and was an ambassador for the chamber before moving to South Carolina. Eric also volunteers his time for the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation (TRF). He is a team member and part of the advisory committees for the South Carolina & Florida programs. Eric is also very involved in his church community and serves as a member of several service teams.
Eric relocated to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in June 2020 from Saratoga Springs, N.Y. with his wife Janine, their son Michael, and their dog Baxter. Since being in South Carolina, Eric and his family rescued two puppies named Bob and Marty. Eric is a lifelong New Yorker. He lived on Long Island for 6 years and is originally from Queens, NY.
Eric loves sports, running, and being physically active. He was a collegiate baseball player at John Jay College and at LIU during his undergraduate studies. He played competitive softball for over a decade after college. The last several years he began running regularly and in November 2019 completed the NYC Marathon. Most importantly, Eric loves spending time with his family and friends. He is also very passionate about animal rights.
